Have your webroot under your source directory is going to cause, in any configuration, MyEclipse to step on top of Eclipse as they both content to try and treat the /src folder differently. While we understand that legacy directory structures are not something that can be changed (easily) we would encourage you to look at maybe leveraging operating system sym links (NTFS supports them) or Ant to create a compatible project structure if you would like to use MyEclipse.
As much as we would love to, its just not possible for us to catch every possible use case and configuration out there. We do our best and listen to our users, but some configurations are so complex the fix would take us weeks to complete and would box out any work on new features that all other users were gunning for. We have to maintain a fine balance to keep the majority of our users happy and functioning with the limited resources we have. |
